The OCCC Drama Club began with a small group of students who loved to act, and has grown to approximately 25 members. In 2015, students performed at Founders Day and Jumpstart (a combined Catholic schools celebration), and concluded the year with a Christmas play written by O'Connor teacher Peter McLeish.

The drama club meets every Monday at lunchtime in the Drama Room. We begin with some drama games followed by script readings or play rehearsals. Everyone is welcome, so bring your lunch and come and join us for lots of fun.

Towards the end of 2012 and with the assistance of Linda Andrews and Mrs Channon a group of O’Connor students formed a Z - Club, a smaller, mainly school based group derived from the International organisation known as ‘Zonta’. O’Connor has become the first school in Armidale to form a Z - Club, and even more exciting is that there are only four Z -Clubs in Australia!

Z - clubs provide opportunities for young people to develop leadership skills, explore career alternatives, improve their international understanding and become aware and assist with international and local charities.

Students from all years are welcome to join Z - club, boys and girls alike. Meetings will be held once a month on Thursday at lunch.
